‘Pawb’ means everyone in Welsh. Co-founded by Lauren Holmes and Ieuan Phillips, Pawb is a name that reflects both their Welsh roots and their commitment to building a more inclusive sporting world. The first route was designed to feel approachable, professional and calm. I selected a sans typeface with soft curves, bringing a smoother and instantly more inviting look and feel to the brand. Paired with a logo mark that puts people at the centre of the brand.

Drawing inspiration from Pawb’s own sporting graphs, this route brings a scientific, data-driven quality to the brand, echoing Pawb’s expertise in advanced measurement.

Typography plays a big role in giving this identity movement. Intentionally using italics to convey motion and progress. This route is sharp, fast, and reinforces Pawb’s mission to drive change within the sporting world.

Presenting three concepts helped Pawb Labs explore which direction best represented their vision and could anchor future brand decisions. Lauren and Ieuan agreed that the concept inspired by movement best reflected Pawb’s forward-thinking approach to sports engineering.
From there, the identity was refined with a more distinctive logomark. Drawing inspiration from the forms of athletes, the mark embodies movement and progress. We also revisited the colour palette, selecting colours that work across the brand as well as data plots and visualisations.
